"Ivan Mikhailovich Shevyrev" (invented name)

Ivan Mikhailovich Shevyrev

also: Иван Михайлович Шевырев

A comic invented name Chekhov assigns his brother Alexander in mock disownment, after Alexander asked (in some family quarrel) to be struck from the list of relatives; Chekhov 'grants' the request by renaming him entirely rather than actually disowning him -- a deadpan escalation typical of the brothers' running joke register.
