The existing entity record describes it as a Petersburg tavern from Chekhov's January 1891 stay near the Suvorins, whereas this letter is dated from Moscow -- the historical Maly Yaroslavets was in fact a well-known Moscow restaurant on Tverskaya Street frequented by Chekhov's circle. Flagged for confirmation: either the existing entity's Petersburg framing needs correction/broadening, or this is the same chain/name attested in both cities; treated here as the same institution pending review, medium confidence on the location detail.
