Chekhov uses a playful diminutive-nonsense form of the name ("Андрепуша") before giving the uncle's proper name and patronymic, then invites him to dine daily at his home in Moscow once the season turns, traveling there by horse-tram (конка) -- Moscow's horse-drawn streetcar system.
