The Anna Arkadyevna of this letter is Bilibin's own new domestic companion, named here and again in the closing regards of \S8; nothing further about her is documented in this corpus. She is unrelated to the "Anna Arkadyevna" of the 1886 Golike-circle acquaintance in Petersburg (first appearing in); the shared name -- itself an echo of Tolstoy's Anna Arkadyevna Karenina -- is coincidental, and the two entities are kept distinct rather than merged.
