Alexander Babukhin

Alexander Ivanovich Babukhin (1827/28-1891), Russian histologist and professor at Moscow University, named in "A Dreary Story" (Section 35) as one of the professors to whom the era's few university witticisms tend to be attributed, along with Gruber and the narrator himself.
