Fyodorov

also: М. П. Федоров

An M. P. Fyodorov whom Chekhov names as the right intermediary to write a covering letter smoothing a new play's path through the dramatic censor's office, on the strength of his acquaintance with Kryukovsky, the censorship's secretary; named only here in the corpus so far, and -- despite sharing initials and surname -- distinct from the M. P. Fyodorov who was editor of record at Novoye Vremya in 1887, a different professional context a year and a half earlier with no stated connection to this one.
