A student poet (described by Chekhov as "a Russian") who asked Chekhov to forward a poem of his to "Severny Vestnik"; Chekhov obliges in (6 October 1889) while joking that the word "navoz" (manure), used twice in the poem's opening lines, is too coarse a word for verse. Otherwise unidentified beyond this mention.
