Levkin

also: Леухин, Levkin

An errand-man or agent in Moscow handling the sale of Leikin's books and forwarding payment for them; distinct from the letter's addressee, Nikolai Alexandrovich Leikin -- the source spelling "Леухин" (Leukhin) is close enough to "Лейкин" (Leikin) to invite confusion, but context (a third party reporting to Leikin about Leikin's own book sales) makes clear this is a separate individual.
