Sibiryakov

A merchant-explorer referenced in \textit{From Siberia} Ch. IX as contemporaneously sailing by steamer from Petersburg into the Arctic Ocean toward the mouth of the Yenisei; Chekhov envies him, standing on the Yenisei's bank at Krasnoyarsk. Likely Alexander Sibiryakov, the real Siberian merchant-patron and Arctic-route promoter.
