Reading notes
- To the Chekhovs, April 1891. Finalmarina. §4 I am going to Nice along the coast. I have just passed Genoa.
Chekhov's party is travelling the Italian and French Riviera coast road west from Genoa toward Nice, passing through the small Ligurian resort of Finalmarina (the letter's own dateline, \S1) along the way -- the same overland leg continued in the same-day postcard from Nice.
