person
Augustus
also: Августа, Octavian, Gaius Octavius
The first Roman emperor, after whom the month of August was renamed from Sextilis by the Roman Senate; Chekhov's mock-almanac comically credits him with founding the Augustinian religious order and composing a Viennese folk song, purely by coincidence of name.
