Owner of the house in Aleksin whose upper floor the Chekhov household moved into in May 1891, identified by Chekhov via a comic anecdote (he gave Mizinova milk to drink but forgot to offer her berries); the same house recurs in the family's correspondence for the remainder of the Aleksin stay before the move to Bogimovo.
