Grebeshkov

also: Федор Гребешков, Fyodor Grebeshkov, Федя, Fedya, Федька, Fedka

A gaunt, skeletal theater barber known across town for "curing" drinking bouts, ordinarily treating only actors, merchants, and clerks of modest standing; talked into treating the celebrity Dikobrazov II, he beats him into submission and doses him with a home-brewed purgative of soap, saltpeter, and other household chemicals, framing the violence as driving out "the devil" in his patient.
