Alexander Pavlovich Chekhov's common-law wife; her marriage to Alexander is reported by Chekhov to Alexander himself as comic family news in (25 February 1889, §10: "Klavdiya Mikhailovna vyshla zamuzh"), and referenced again two letters later in (2 March 1889, §10), where Chekhov jokingly signs off as "Klavdiya Mikh.'s husband," teasing Alexander by casting himself as her husband/rival.
