A woman (surname only) whose testamentary "capital" Chekhov looked into on Nadezhda Garshina's behalf while in Moscow; he found it willed exclusively to churches, and on that finding judged a planned letter from A. S. Suvorin to the advocate Plevako on the matter unnecessary. Not otherwise identified in this corpus.
