Muzil

also: Музиль, Н. И. Музиль, Nikolai Muzil

Nikolai Ignatyevich Muzil (1841-1900), a character actor at Moscow's Maly Theatre, named here as one of five Maly actors (with Gorev, Sadovsky, Yuzhin, and Rybakov) for whom Chekhov has good parts in mind in "The Wood Demon." Not to be confused with, an unrelated invented comic name from an earlier, unconnected letter.
