A melancholic double-bass player on his way to play at Prince Bibulov's engagement party who, after a swim, loses his clothes to thieves and improvises hiding the prince's naked daughter inside his instrument case -- only to lose the case itself in a chase after suspected thieves. His name derives from smychok, 'bow' (of a stringed instrument).
