A woman in the Chekhov/Lintvaryov social circle at Luka (Sumy), addressed and referred to with a mix of affection and mock-gallantry across several of Chekhov's 1890 Siberian-journey letters home; he teasingly calls her a "golden-curled, seductive diva" and elsewhere ranks her, in absentia, above the women he meets on the road. He asks after her whereabouts and corresponds about commissioning her for museum work, sends her greetings in most of the family letters from the journey (-818, -825, -832, -835, -851), and later notes she has begun corresponding with his friend Ivanenko. Not further identified by surname or role in the source; probably a governess, teacher, or other young woman resident in or near the Lintvaryov household's circle at Luka, on close enough terms with the family to be included by name in nearly every greetings list Chekhov sends home during the journey.
