Khilovo is the settlement Kozyavkin has actually stumbled into, distinct from his own Gnilye Vyselki -- the punch line of the whole piece is that the two summer-cottage colonies are similar enough, and the night dark enough, that a resident of one can wreck a henhouse in the other without noticing the difference.
