A 16th-century Russian household-management and conduct manual, prescribing religious, social, and domestic order. Chekhov urges Suvorin to publish it in the "Cheap Library" series (\S11 of this letter), alongside "The Teaching of Vladimir Monomakh" and "The Tale of Igor's Campaign."
