"Vladimir Monomakh's Testament"

also: Поучение Владимира Мономаха, Vladimir Monomakh's Testament

A 12th-century Old East Slavic didactic text attributed to Grand Prince Vladimir II Monomakh of Kievan Rus, addressed as counsel to his sons. Chekhov urges Suvorin to publish it in the "Cheap Library" series as a small student volume with parallel Slavonic and Russian text and end-notes, alongside "The Tale of Igor's Campaign" and the "Domostroi" (\S11 of this letter).
