  Proprietor or manager of the Theatrical Library on Grafsky Lane, Moscow, who handled lithographing and provincial distribution of censor-approved plays -- a real theatrical-trade business contact named here for the first time in this corpus, and explicitly NOT the character Bazarov from Turgenev's "Fathers and Sons": the surname coincidence is incidental, not an allusion.

The letter gives only the bare surname and the request itself, so the identification is reused with the same caveat flagged at rather than treated as certain. Explicitly not the character Bazarov from Turgenev's "Fathers and Sons."
