An affectionately mocking diminutive nickname for a family or social acquaintance of Ivan Pavlovich Chekhov's, whose wife Chekhov jokingly calls "broken-down" in a closing aside asking whether Semashechka is still "sawing away" at her. Not otherwise identified in this corpus.
