Reading notes
- To A. S. Suvorin, 28 February 1890. Moscow. §3 Vysheslavtsev
Alexei Vladimirovich Vysheslavtsev, author of \emph{Ocherki perom i karandashom iz krugosvetnogo plavaniya} ("Sketches in Pen and Pencil from a Voyage Around the World"), an illustrated travel account of a naval circumnavigation -- reading consistent with Chekhov's Sakhalin preparation. Named here by surname alone, as Chekhov does throughout this run of book-list letters; he later asks for the book again by title if Suvorin has not already sent it.
