A journal planned for launch in the late 1880s to which Nikolai Zlatovratsky invited Chekhov to contribute; first mentioned in passing (as a suspected pretext for a matchmaking scheme involving the Lintvaryovs) in Chekhov's 5 or 6 July 1888 letter to Pleshcheyev, then directly in Chekhov's 8 August 1888 letter of acceptance to Zlatovratsky himself.
