Stoglav

"Stoglav"

also: Стоглав

A periodical for which "Alexei Alexeyevich" apparently supplies content, including a postal-rules column on the sending of money packets and a medical section that Chekhov mocks as "beneath all criticism" (\S14). First appearance in this corpus; distinct from Suvorin's newspaper "Novoye Vremya" (the venue meant by "placing my little articles" in \S13 of the same letter).
