Mitrofan Yegorovich Chekhov's wife, Georgy's mother -- referred to only as "тете" (your aunt, from Anton's point of view) and not named elsewhere in the surviving correspondence.

The same Taganrog household named in the closing regards of, \S11, sent there to the uncle himself; here Chekhov again reaches the same circle -- his aunt, cousins Georgy and Volodya, the unnamed girls of the household, and Irinushka -- but as recipients of a separate closing bow rather than all lumped in one sentence.
