The Russian shifts from the singular "Ваш сын" (the playwright, Alexander) in the first sentence to plural "Ваших сыновей"/"их" here, covering both Nikolai Alekseevich and Alexander together; the English preserves this plural rather than collapsing it back onto the single playwright son.
