Viktor Alexandrovich Goltsev

Goltsev

also: Гольцев, Голь-цев, Рольцев

Literary critic and journalist who effectively ran the editorial side of "Russkaya Mysl" for the long-absent editor-publisher Vukol Lavrov; received Chekhov here in Lavrov's stead and is described with affectionate irony as the journal's "grand vizier" -- amiable but no judge of literature.
