Chekhov's request to send "Children" (Russian "Детвору") for proofreading; this corpus's dedicated work-entity for the title (first attested at) tracks a later planned story collection under this name -- the child characters of the original 1886 story "Детвора" are catalogued separately as figure:*-detvora entries. The proofreading request here most likely concerns a reprinting of the story itself rather than the later collection project; flagged as a genuine identification ambiguity rather than silently resolved.
